Summer Vacation Bible School

Sunday Morning Nursery

A dedicated adult volunteer offers loving care in a well-equipped nursery for infants while parents attend 9:30 AM Adult Bible Study classes.  During the 11:00 AM worship service, adult volunteers, on rotating basis, care for our infants.

 

Sunday Morning Bible Study

Our toddlers are nurtured during the 9:30 AM Bible Study time by an adult with developmentally appropriate Bible stories, warm-hearted sharing times, and play-acting.   The 11:00 AM worship hour allows toddlers to play with the many toys alongside other toddlers under the guidance of a volunteer adult and youth, aged 7th through 12^th grade.

 

Our children ages 4 though 6^th grade are grouped for age-appropriate small group study.  They learn Bible stories and principles through study, discussions and activities led by faithful adult teachers. 

 

Sunday Morning Chapel Choir

From October through early December and February through early May, part of the Sunday morning Bible Study involves music.  From 9:30AM until 10:10 AM, children ages kindergarten through 6^th grade enjoy singing, interpretative movements, rhythmic activities, and playing instruments.  In preparing for a Christmas program and in participating in special worship services, the children use music to express their love and praise for God and learn life-long Bible truths.

 

Sunday Morning Children’s Sermon

During the 11:00 AM Sunday worship services; a segment is devoted to all children.  A leader invites the children to come to the front of the sanctuary to share a short lesson based on the Bible and applicable to a child’s life.

 

Sunday Morning Children’s Church

The children worship with their parents during the Sunday 11:00 AM worship service until the Pastor’s sermon.  Then the children from kindergarten through 6^th grade have an option of leaving the sanctuary to have a worship service of their own of age-appropriate activities.  Activities range from Bible Blitz, learning the books of the Bible, art crafts, food crafts, games, puppetry, play-acting and outings.  On the first Sunday of each month, the children return to the sanctuary in time for The Lord’s Supper.

Wednesday Evening His Kids

With the exception of the second Wednesday of each month, the children meet at 7:00 PM for His Kids.  They participate in exciting scientific experiments based on Biblical principles led by a dynamic leader.  The children help with the Christmas Child Shoebox and Christmas Mitten Tree as mission projects.

 

Seasonal Outings and Parties

Our seasonal parties and outings focus on fellowship, fun and recognizing God in all aspects of our lives.  Families are invited and encouraged to be a part of these special events.

 

Summer Vacation Bible School

The first week of August, from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM, is devoted to children from kindergarten through sixth grade.  Vacation Bible School is an activity-packed, hands-on Bible adventure.   Our vacation Bible School participates in the Operation Child-to-Child Mission project.  Led by over 50 volunteers, it is a week of sharing God’s love and nurturing Christian growth.  Our Vacation Bible School is totally funded by our church.

 

Important Events in a Child’s Christian Life

Our Pastor dedicates a portion of special 11:00 AM Sunday worship services to have a Parent/Child Dedication.  This short segment serves as a parent’s public commitment to raise the child according to God’s word.

 

Our Pastor leads the older children in understanding the meaning of making a public profession of Jesus Christ as their personal Savior.  Our Pastor dedicates a portion of the 11:00 AM worship services for baptism.
