Hypothermia Shelter 2012

 

 

      Fairfax Baptist Church will feed and shelter about 35 guests beginning Sunday evening, March 11th and ending Saturday morning, March 17th.  Doors open at 5:30pm and guests leave by 7:30am each day. 

     Volunteers are needed throughout this period to help with logistics and interact with the guests as well as 90 minutes before/after to set up and clean up.  Volunteers are also needed to prepare and serve meals.  Other churches have already agreed to help.  Sign-up sheets have been posted in the lower foyer for everyone to indicate their availability to help make this a successful outreach program.
